SEN Learning Support Assistant (Level 2 & 121) at Henbury Court Primary Academy

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Term Time only plus Inset days.

Salary: BG5 (equivalent to £12,468 - £13,056 per annum)

Contract: Temporary post subject to funding that will end when the funding ceases or when the child leaves the school.

Endeavour Academy Trust is an inclusive and collaborative group of schools in North Bristol. There are currently two Endeavour schools: Little Mead Primary Academy and Henbury Court Primary Academy. The Successful Candidate

We are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic teaching assistant who can work creatively to support a child with special educational needs.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • High standards of written and spoken English as well as good skills in mathematics
  • A flexible, adaptable and positive attitude to working in a structured environment
  • The ability to contribute effectively to the workload and responsibilities of a team
  • The ability to develop effective working relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents/carers
  • The ability to maintain confidential and sensitive data for reporting and evaluation purposes

A positive, enthusiastic and proactive attitude is essential.

 Learning Mentor at Henbury Court Primary Academy

Hours: 19.5 hours per week, 3 days per week (days to be agreed). Term time only plus Inset days.

Salary: BG10 (equivalent to £12,307 per year).

Contract: Permanent.

We are looking to recruit a committed and resilient individual to work with our Safeguarding Lead to support children and families. The role will include classroom-based intervention work, working with outside agencies and occasional PPA work.
